The Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) process began with publication of the Notice of Intent on December 14, 2007. The EIS process is expected to continue through Early 2010. As the following milestones are reached (see tentative dates, below), additional information will be posted to this website.

• Notice of Intent: Published December 14, 2007
• Public Scoping Period:
  December 14, 2007 through February 3, 2008
• Draft EIS: Notice of Availability, July 17, 2009
• 45-day Public Review Period:
  July 17 through September 1, 2009
• Public Hearing Meetings: August 18 through 20, 2009
• Final EIS: December 11, 2009
• Waiting Period: December 11, 2009 through January 11, 2010
• Record of Decision: January 2010
